Limited Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

We stand behind every project we deliver. Our guarantee covers the craftsmanship of our work for the lifetime of your ownership, so you can hire us with complete peace of mind.

Iowa Home Consulting LLC guarantees all work to be free from defects in workmanship for the lifetime of the completed project. Defects in materials used in projects may be covered by manufacturer warranties per their own terms and conditions.

This Limited Lifetime Guarantee applies and is limited as follows:

    Stays with the original homeowner

    The guarantee applies to the property only as long as it remains in the possession of the owner Iowa Home Consulting was contracted by for completion of the project.

  2. 02

    Free from accident, misuse, or abuse

    The work or site has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse after our team completes it.

  3. 03

    Not modified by others

    The construction work has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made (or attempted) by anyone other than Iowa Home Consulting.

  4. 04

    Prompt notice of any defect

    Iowa Home Consulting is notified immediately upon the owner or their agent first knowing about a defect.

  5. 05

    First opportunity to make it right

    Iowa Home Consulting is given the first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, or corrections to the defective project at no cost to the owner, within a reasonable period of time.

  6. 06

    Defects in workmanship, defined

    Defects in workmanship are defined as those exclusively resulting in failure from improper installation, application, or preparation.

  7. 07

    Limitation of liability

    Under no circumstances shall the contractor be liable, by virtue of this warranty or otherwise, for damage to any person or property for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature arising out of the use or inability to use the project because of a defect.

What information we collect

When you book an estimate, request a quote, or otherwise contact us through our site, you may be asked to provide your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and project details so we can help you. We collect this information when you fill out a form or otherwise share it with us through the site.

How we use your information

We use the information you share to schedule and prepare estimates, execute and follow up on projects, respond to inquiries (live chat, email, or phone), and improve the overall experience of working with us. We may also use it to send occasional updates about your project or our services, which you can opt out of at any time.

How we protect it

Our website is regularly scanned for security issues and known vulnerabilities. We use malware scanning, encrypted connections (SSL), and limit internal access to those who need it to serve you. Payment transactions are handled by a secure gateway provider and are not stored on our servers.

Children's privacy

We do not market to or knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Do Not Track & California (CalOPPA)

We honor Do Not Track browser signals. You can visit our site anonymously, and a link to this policy is available from any page. You may update or remove personal information you've shared with us at any time by emailing or calling us.

Data breach response

In the event of a data breach involving your information, we will notify affected users by email within 7 business days, in line with the Fair Information Practices Principles.
